Yours Until Morning

June Kerrigan usually looks forward to summer when out-of-town vacationers bring glitter and glamour to the sleepy town of Lockport. But this summer is different. With her daughter Claire recently diagnosed with epilepsy, June is not only afraid something terrible will happen to her, but that Claire will be shunned if the townspeople find out about her illness. It doesn't help that household money is in short supply when everyone around them seems to be rising up in the world. Her husband John works long hours as a boat maker, but there never seems to be enough to make ends meet.

Things start looking up when John receives an important commission from a wealthy New Yorker, not to mention the social possibilities the sophisticated summer residents might bring their way. When June plunges headlong into a reckless affair with her dashing neighbor, an ad man from New York, her normally dull domestic world takes on a flavor and excitement she had never imagined possible. If only life could go on this way forever. But the days pass swiftly, and when this particular summer draws to a close, an unforeseen tragedy will change June's life forever.

Set in a Cape Cod fishing village in the summer of 1963, 'Yours Until Morning' explores the life, loves, and dreams of a young family teetering on the brink of a rapidly changing world.
