Merlin, the greatest Lord of Fae has returned. But he faces the wrath of a modern security service and its artificial intelligence.

When he regains all of his true powers, the life or death battle begins but this is no comic book hero but a true Lord of Fae and you confront him at your peril.

Merlin finds the four main characters in the legend, Arthur, Gwen, Lawrence, and Vivienne but modern life throws a twist at him he's never had before as these young people are so unlike any he's ever dealt with in his storied past. With the intervention of the security forces and an artificial intelligence, Merlin has a challenge he's never faced before and for which he's not prepared. He's forced to make hard choices and learn new ways of dealing with computers and magic in a modern world. Merlin also wasn't prepared for the independence of all four young people in a world that has forgotten real magic.

The entire world of Fae hangs in the balance as he learns about this new world and struggles to restore real magic to it.
