Love Awakens

In Vrozia, a beautiful world of perpetual night that resides beneath twin moons, a breeding game is played out every three years. Human females are sacrificed to this world to participate in their lively games.

King Jodocus and Queen Jacquelle of Vrozia seek out healthy human females every three years from many worlds to participate in their games of breeding. Queen Jacquelle is only able to produce male offspring, so females must be acquired from their worlds and brought to Vrozia for her sons to find their mates.

The females are given to Vrozia as a token of peace for Queen Jacquelle has threatened the extinction of any world that refuses to obey her commands. These teenage girls come to live in the castle where they must participate in a series of activities, such as innocent dancing and savage hunting, until they are matched to their own prince. For the current breeding game, there are ten princes looking for a mate. The only problem is that one of the ten females chosen by the Queen, turns out to be Ostramethusias's mate.

Earth's sacrifice is sixteen-year-old Cilla. From the moment that Ostramethusias carries her into Its world, she begins to change in every way as her body sheds its humanity and embraces its immortality as an Other. The games commence and Ostramethusias becomes fully male and claims Cilla as his mate.

There are four types of citizens in Vrozia. Outerborders are the feral shapeshifters, middleborders are the animal blood farmers, innerborders are the three-eyed creative artisans along with the staff and guards inside the royal castle and grounds. In a world once ruled by Others and now dominated by a token king and queen, changes are in the air as Ostramethusias and Cilla become Maldoriens, fully magical beings meant to rule Vrozia.
