That’s what Coe learned in his first meeting with the Great Ranger.

An evil king hides away in his castle, hoarding a treasure of gold, waiting for the thieves to come. And they always do come.

Coe believes this is all a ruse of the Great Ranger. Perhaps he’s right. Or perhaps he’s gravely mistaken.
