I am Lucas Johnson, a fallen angel working as a corporate hitman, and I've got a vampire problem.

Ever since I've killed one of the four high vampires, all the other vampires want me dead.

And they are rather active about it, sending at an endless flood of vampire thralls. I've slaughtered thousands of them, but their hunt can only end with my death.

It's only a matter of time before a lucky bullet ends me.

I'm out of tricks to try and I have nowhere to run, so I wait for a miracle or death.

But then Vivian appears. And in spite of being a high vampire herself, she doesn't want to murder me.

Instead, she offers me a way out. If I can retrieve her old necklace, she can solve my vampire problem.

The problem lies in the necklace being sealed within the Devil's personal vault.

But I feel too young to die, so I start assembling a crew.
