Melissa's fiance announced abruptly that he would NOT be taking her to meet his parents for Thanksgiving, because she had gained too much weight. The next day he sent her in his mercedes with his credit card to pick up his dry-cleaning and she realized it was the perfect time to dump him! Using his credit card, she bought a plane ticket, stuffing her suitcase with his dry-cleaning, and leaving him a message to pick up his car at the airport. Her luck took a turn for the worse, though, as he checked his messages halfway through her escape and canceled his credit card. Stranded in a small Texas town after crashing her rental car and damaging some old man's home, she faces a spanking sheriff that isn't going to let her run out on her responsibilities!
