The setting: a small, quiet town, of just a few thousand, with almost no crime rate to speak of. A quaint town, if you will.

The situation: a tenacious, big-city detective named Danny Acuff has just moved to the small town and pinned on a badge.

The result: things soon explode after a major cartel, operating in secret out of the town, discovers that it can't co-exist with a new, hot-shot detective, who has a knack for seeing what others miss. Danny goes from solving mysterious murders to fighting for his life.

In the end, there will be a lot of good guys -- and bad guys -- die in this one... And Danny will learn you can't trust even the "good guys" in a small town.
