**I’ve always hated this town.

This town has always hated me.

Now I’m back here so I can get to know my kid…**

But now there’s somebody else I want to get to know — a woman who sets me on fire and makes me forget.

Her touch, her confidence, her lips, her soft skin…

She makes me forget what I did in Afghanistan.

When I’m with her, I don’t remember.

The nightmares in my head don’t exist anymore.

What is it about her?

Amelia won’t want me if she knows who I really am, what I really did.

Just like my kid won’t want me either.

I don’t even know what I’m doing back here.

Chasing a shadow of happiness that I don’t deserve.

Everything will be much better once I leave again.
