When Wishes Come True

Evelyn Sinclair and her daughter, Amelia, have never known the joy that true love and happiness can bring. A huge misunderstanding between Evelyn and her father-in-law forced her to leave home with Amelia when she was born, and since then Evelyn has struggled to make ends meet in one of Liverpool's poorest backstreets, refusing to accept offers of help or friendship from kindly neighbours.

It is only when Evelyn falls in love with a very special gentleman that she begins to see things in a different light. She realises that she has selfishly denied Amelia the chance to have real friends in a community that is bursting with life. She learns that there is joy to be had in helping others. And, if everyone's wishes are to come true, Evelyn knows she must reunite her daughter with a family who have been searching for her...
