Driven by a desperate caffeine addiction, Matthew Sullivan, proclaimed Golden God of D.M.A.--a popular American pop/rock band, demands that Alex Jennings, fellow bandmate, find him a cafe. It is this fateful demand that creates a collision of worlds that no one was expecting. Nestled among skyscrapers, nightclubs, restaurants, and high end retail shops a quaint coffee shop houses deep conversation of societal idiosyncrasies among three best friends. Riana Graham’s passion was naturally alluring, and it is her eloquent yet fierce discussion with her two best friends, Lexi Galanos and Sam Vincent, that unwittingly draws in Alex, Matthew, and the third member to D. M. A., Alex’s older brother Derek Jennings. Riana becomes consumed by history of a connection between her and Matt which had remained untapped for nine years, as well as a new spark with Alex. Complications quickly arise after public exposure of their forbidden emotions. Alex must decide if the stir of feelings for Riana is worth ending his long term relationship without a guarantee that Riana would choose him over her own long-term, albeit dysfunctional, relationship.
