DCI Ellis is supposed to be taking advantage of his time off to focus on his wedding plans, but when a dead groom is discovered at a nearby wedding hall, he can't stand idly by.

But this is not the simple case Ellis wanted to take on to help him ease back into things. With the discovery of the groom's dark past, Ellis also amasses a rising suspect list, and before long, another body.

Ellis needs to solve this puzzle before more bodies drop. He should have been focused on planning his own wedding, but now he finds himself faced with darkness and murder at someone else's failed nuptials.

Can he come out of this unscathed? Or will he be the next fallen groom?
