“The Tria” is a short story set in The Circle War universe. The gods of the Circle are on the brink of civil war. Too powerful to fight for themselves, they must choose champions to battle for their lives. While the series focuses mainly on the heroes, this story follows Mordric, champion of the villainous god Anemolie, as he chooses the warriors who will fight for her side. To do that, he looks within, combining his magic with the magic of technology to create the perfect offspring, children who not only possess his power, but can wield it against his enemies.
