For hundreds of years, witches have lived among humans in a land they call the Underworld. After hundreds of years they’re losing the battle against their age-old enemy, the Corrupt.

The Corrupt are demons who hide in plain sight, using lifeless human bodies to mask their appearance. They want more than possession of the land. They want to give life to an ancient demon even the gods themselves fear.

Only one coven remains to fight these demons and protect the human race, the Crux Coven. At the helm is a warrior-witch named Creed.

Creed has fought his enemy for four hundred years. He has loved and he has lost. When a human woman, Helaine, breaks his wards and enters his sanctuary he’s ready once again for battle. Still mourning the loss of Lila, his consort, Creed doesn’t like the pull he feels toward the human woman.
