Nearly twenty years ago the Chaos Gate was reopened. With an army of demonic beings at her side, Queen Zarrennia destroyed the Elven Empire and took Madaria for herself. The land has been plunged into darkness and most have given up hope.

Miri Cavadash is the last descendant of a legendary Hero and is gifted with the Sight. Through her prophetic visions she has seen the chosen four who are destined to seal the Chaos Gate and restore the Elven Empire. Finding them she discovers that they are not the heroes she was expecting.
