Satan combats living faith with religious expectations, with denominational creeds, philosophies, traditions, and rules. With any other Jesus than the non-conforming, reputationless, radical, life-celebrating, world-defying, self-neglecting, religion-exposing Jesus of Nazareth. With any other gospel than the good news that the blood of the Lamb makes us approved, holy, favored, and triumphant. With any other spirit than the spirit of humility, brokenness, love, and compassion. Exercise philosophy all you want. Exercise principles. Exercise conformity. Exercise self-examination, self-discipline, and tradition. Anything to distract you from exercising faith.

Jesus came to reach the lost generation, and he did not do it from a pulpit. Or by joining the religious right in demanding conformity from those outside of the church crowd. He celebrated the broken, the desperate, the sinful, anyone whose life allowed him to express his radical grace and unconditional love.

Join the grace revolution. Trade dead religion for a living relationship with your Creator! Abandon your comfort zone in search of the purpose of life found only in communion with your Creator.

Invite God into your every thought, whether good or bad, into your deepest desires, into your greatest hurts and highest joys. The Desire of Nations desires you! You are the delight of his heart!
