Libya, 1942. Anatole and Lucien have been lovers for two years - and lieutenants in the Free French Army for equally as long. The Germans are advancing across Northern Africa, and in the middle of the desert, the Allies are forced to take a desperate stand. At the dried-out oasis of Bir Hakeim, the French forces are outnumbered ten to one against the Nazis, and fear spreads through the troops that they are about to be sacrificed to protect their British allies. FIGHT is the second of three stories in the Free French Trilogy, a slow-burning gay historical romance set against the backdrop of the second world war. Each story is complete, and can be read individually or as part of a trilogy. The third story, FREE, will be out in May 2016.
