Can crime ever really pay?
Coxton Lee plays the asset stripping game. Along with his partners: the corrupt banker Slimpson, the coercer Bryant, and the book-cooking Jones brothers -- Cox’s journey has made him rich. However, when a former client, Phillip Mazza discovers that Cox is back in business; problems start spiralling.
In the culmination of a long investigation, unexpectedly, the Serious Fraud Office arrest Cox in a sweeping raid. Meanwhile, back outside, Richard Putz, Mazza’s private debt-collector, makes the fatal mistake of approaching Bryant during one of his happy-hours with an escort girl. The resulting annihilation leaves a body in need of disposal. With Cox already in custody, it doesn’t take Bryant long to figure-out where to dump the corpse.
Cox and partner’s fight for survival is a tale of murder, vice, London sleaze, and high velocity action.
