Have you ever asked yourself, what the future might think about our time?
New York journalist David Ragnarsson, unemployed and suicidal, finds out the hard way, when he meets teenage Hope Morgan, who claims to be his great-great-great-great-great-granddaughter.
Hope isn't too happy about having been sent to a time her contemporaries call "the Dark Ages", while David considers Hope's time quite a step backwards.
And while on the surface Hope's world seems far more peaceful than David's it isn't without flaws. flaws which are about to backfire badly.
Dark forces are now threatening to destroy both worlds, and their people stand before the big question:
Can war be stopped by more war or is there an alternative?
The story is written in the spirit of George Orwell and Aldous Huxley, while it might get Ayn Rand to roll over in her grave.
It tackles economical, ecological, political, philosophical, ethical and religious topics.
It's also about big and small decisions people make, which might have rather surprising consequences for the future of the whole world.
And finally it's about miracles of the heart and the miracles of "coincidences".
