Sinclair Madison is the workaholic owner of Aged Out of Foster Care Inc., an agency that helps former foster kids now aged out of the system. After spending many years building her business she ignored her love life because she had run into too many Mr. Wrongs for Her. The straw that broke the camel's back was when her ex-boyfriend gave her an ultimatum, either him or her business. She left him and never looked back. She had suffered enough heartache and decided to focus solely on her agency.

Eligible bachelor Pastor Kingston Carter is second pastor at Christ the Lord Fellowship Church where his father is the head pastor. The handsome gray eyed man is the only of his two siblings to not be married. Between the church and working in his family run grocery store Carter Market, he has options as far as the eye could see but he has yet to find his first lady.

Sinclair is not looking for love at all after being hurt so much. Then along comes Pastor Kingston Carter to show her what real love truly is. He sees them making his house a home one day together. While on their journey they hit a brick wall and Sinclair is not sure if even God himself can get them past their wall of Jericho.
