Sweden was once one of the world's most successful societies but the open borders ideology of the political class has put the long-term future of this peaceful, liberal society in doubt. Can Sweden be put back on track?
Excerpt from book:
'For criticising their government’s and elites’ belief in open borders or mass immigration, lots of people have lost their jobs or have failed to get their contracts renewed; it could be something as trivial as making the wrong comments on Facebook. For example, 40-year-old Erik, adopted from Sri Lanka, so therefore dark-skinned himself, was sacked from the army earlier this year for “challenging the value ground of the military” in a post on Facebook. The background was that he took extra shifts as a security guard with responsibility for an asylum centre. One evening he was called out to break up an attempted violation and harassment of a woman. In his talks with women there, he found that Christians lived in constant fear in the asylum centre and the women scarcely dared go to the toilets in the evenings for fear of being molested. So he wrote on Facebook that “In no country where Islam has arrived has Islam adapted to the country. The country has always adapted to Islam...with mathematical certainty we are moving towards the same fate as Zoroastrian Iran, Buddhist Pakistan, Orthodox Kosovo, Catholic Lebanon and Orthodox Syria.” That was too much for the army, which has a commitment to a multicultural value ground and support for things like Pride parades. He had spent half his life as a soldier and the army sacked him for making those comments on Facebook, which devastated him.'
