Project Lightning

With the memory of her childhood gone, Brinna St. Pope is inducted in a top-secret military program, Project Lightning. Brinna hopes that this experience will be a chance to find herself, despite her missing past. To form amidst the ashes.

Set in post-war Boston, Brinna is raised by her aunt and uncle. Her upbringing is fairly normal. It is not until recruitment day that her world begins to unravel. She is “forced” to leave the only family she has ever known to join a world she knows nothing about.

Plagued by recurring nightmares, Brinna discovers that her parents once roamed the halls of her new home. Now, Brinna has a new goal. To find out about her parents and what happened to them.

Along her journey, Brinna meets Caleb. Despite him being her unit liaison, Brinna is instantly attracted. However, Caleb is a superior. She has to decide if he is worth the effort and her time.

Captain Barnum, their commanding officer, orders Brinna to drop the issue of her parents. This order confuses Brinna and Caleb. She is sure that Captain Barnum knows more about their death. Together, they work to uncover the truth. What they don’t expect is the answer is closer than they think.
