Ava is the queen of all mermaids, and she didn't ask for that job. She didn't even ask to find her soulmate. Just as she accepts that she'll never meet the man with the other half of her soul, she watches a human save a mermaid, and everything changes.

Sam had no idea that rescuing a mermaid would mean turning into one. He doesn't want the tail or anything that comes with it, including Ava. When she promises to change him back into a human, she offers him a deal that he can't refuse. A shifter peace summit? Sounds simple enough.
