Detective Louise Highcroft’s first investigation is an open and shut case. The murderer has confessed. Louise’s colleagues are jealous and her superiors think she’s marvellous. A fantastic start to her career, except that she thinks that they’ve got the wrong man.

When another girl is reported missing Louise needs to find out what’s going on in the assumed murderer’s mind. Asking for help doesn’t come easily to Louise, a fiercely independent loner, but she talks to Mental Health worker Faye Lovall.

Faye is convinced of her patient is innocent but thinks that his disturbed mind holds knowledge that could find the actual killer. Louise decides to trust her but their first attempt at collaboration ends in disaster.

Should Louise dig further? It could damage her adored, late father’s reputation if she does. Or does she let an innocent man face jail? No contest really, especially as other girls’ lives are at risk if she doesn’t... But her own life, and more importantly Faye’s are going to be in jeopardy if she doesn’t back off...

NO TELLING chronicles Louise’s and Faye’s quest for justice, and a friendship that grows despite all the odds, as they work together to unravel the secrets of the past in a situation where nothing and nobody is quite what they seem.
