A 1st /1st which is nevertheless a reinforced library binding copy, and does have all the standard indicators of being ex-library - envelopes, "discard" stamp. It is otherwise in solid VG condition, bright (see scan), firmly bound with lower right corner showing the only notable wear. No jacket, but the blurb flap of the jacket has been tipped in at the ffep. Octavo, illustrated library binding boards, 211 pp. Despite being sci-fi for those in their youthful years - thus not a very intense or scary story from the looks of it - this is an oddly heartwarming and heart-tugging copy, and scarce as a first printing.
