A witty and cleverly crafted Pride and Prejudice Variation, Absurdities and Assumptions tells the story of two couples that are destined for each other they just don't know it.

Fitzwilliam Darcy and Charles Bingley were two of the most eligible bachelors to grace the small country town of Meryton in decades. In almost no time at all, the men find themselves entirely too infatuated with Jane and Elizabeth Bennet, women from an entirely unsuitable family. After retreating to London to save themselves from love's spell, Darcy and Bingley receive news that one of the Bennet daughters has become engaged. Fearing that they have made horrible mistakes, the men return to Hertfordshire. They are relieved to discover it is Mary Bennet who is engaged. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean that their journey toward happy endings will be easy.
