Playing Dead in Dixie

Carly Sandano is a woman who believes in avoiding entanglements at any cost. Trying to elude her crooked ex-boss Dominick, and the FBI agent who wants her to testify against him, she lucks into the chance to fake her death and ends up in the sleepy little town of Bangor, Georgia, pretending to be someone she's not. All she wants to do is make enough money to get to the next dot on the map, as far from danger as possible. But the people of Bangor have a way of getting under Carly's skin—especially the town's suspicious and oh-so-sexy chief of police, Wes Hollingsworth.
