This title is devoted to historical commissions, including their establishment, forms of membership, and general working methods. Based on selected examples, it describes the historical conditions that lead to their creation, explores the development of their working missions, and reflects on the limitations of their activity. Finally, it investigates their role in overcoming national and ideological boundaries to raise historical awareness.
