Outside the ( ) is a collection of poems that say what we often hesitate to say - things that we place in the brackets. These mostly have to do with our bodies, sex, modern love, peoples' perceptions, mental health, social constructs and the search for an identity. The book is a string of observations that pull on these brackets and spill those unsaid words out in the open. This book is for you if you have ever felt afraid to speak up, stand out or let out. This book is for all of us. Hopefully, after reading Outside the ( ), you won’t feel the need to place your feelings inside the ( ) anymore.
