Meet Alyssa Freemont, rumored super-model, slut, puppy-kicker, and all around nice girl.

Her plans for the summer are perfect: fun, sun, and romance at an elite summer camp. But things go wrong from the very start when her ex-boyfriend shows up. Then kids start disappearing, a ghost pops up, and worst of all, Allyssa can’t figure out what to wear. What a nightmare!

“Sometimes when summer comes and all the kids pour into camp, she walks out into the night and possesses someone. And then that someone drags campers one by one into that ramshackle house, and they’re never seen again…”

“Hey,” says a voice from above me, and my heart jumps. It’s Rick, Rick, Rick – not some creepy ghost girl who’s intent on possessing me – but still, I shouldn’t be so happy about it. Okay, I should so be happy about it because I know he’ll walk me back to my cabin if I ask very nicely.

Which is going to suck. I mean, I haven’t talked to him in quite some time … but it’s better than getting possessed isn’t it?

I look up at him, and he holds his hand out for me. I eye it a little and look back at his face as in what do you want? I know that’s not really the way to go if I want him to walk me to my door, or anything like that, but it’s not like I want to seem desperate. I mean, I’m not that scared, not so scared that I can’t keep my dignity.

He continues to hold his hand out though, his look saying I know you want to, but not in a flirtatious kind of way, more of an I know you want to – because you’re peeing your pants you’re so scared kind of way.

Can Alyssa manage her love life, deal with friend drama, and solve the mystery? All that, without losing her sense of humor and perfect hair? Allyssa will have to act fast before her dreams of a fun summer romance die – literally.
