[Innocent Series 06] • The Virgin and the Convict

[Innocent Series 06] • The Virgin and the Convict

Trinity Espinoza is having the worst birthday of her life. Her room-mate just up and left, she's been called in to work the graveyard shift, and a druggie snags a scalpel and tries to kid-nap her. Just because the man who saves her happens to be fresh from prison doesn't mean he isn't a hero, and if her anxiety doesn't interfere, she just might tell him so.

Eric Drake did two years for the job that ended everything--his family, his life as he knew it, and any hope he ever had. Now he finds himself back out in the world, utterly alone, until he runs into an old acquaintance at the bus stop. It's one thing to tussle with the guy there, but another thing entirely when his old nemesis set his sights on Trinity. The beautiful woman that treats him like a human being spurs Eric to action, first to protect, then to befriend, and finally, against all odds, to love...

This Kendall Duke romance has more than the usual amount of Angst (yes, in this case the capital A is necessary), and comes with a brooding alpha to match. Not going to lie: there's a chance you will be sad. There's some flashbacks to violence and general bad luck that make this story more intense than most short romances.... But it's also my favorite, so there. Make no mistake--Eric is the toughest bad boy you'll ever meet... He's also very pretty, pretty dangerous in the bedroom, and just about everywhere else. Get your tissues ready for wet cheeks and sheets and enjoy the latest in the Innocent Series, The Virgin and the Convict.
