A ticking clock… A visit to ancient caverns with my Spellslingers classmates yields a find that leads to danger, both in and out of the paranormal realm. When I'm accused of a crime I didn't commit, a king grants me one week to prove my innocence or face the sword. With Callan by my side, the werewolf and I make our way through strange lands to gather the evidence we need and, in the process, uncover a plot that threatens thousands of lives, including our own. Can I stop a war before it begins or am I destined to suffer the same fate as those I failed to save?
