A country cottage outside London has just become a bloody crime scene. A crime boss and two innocents lay dead, and the target's wife, Liz, is running for her life.

Enter Karl Seabury, a typical guy who stops his vehicle on a dark lane to help a woman in distress. But his good deed has put him in the crosshairs of the killers. Soon Karl and his new passenger are in the frame for the triple killing, and going to the police for help is out of the question: the killers are three renegade cops, who need to silence the fugitives at all costs.
