The reader experiences the journey through the struggling eyes of Levi as he is bombarded with chaos - Murders, bombs, aliens, political unrest, robots, and other-worldly technologies. The learning curve is incredibly high, but his family's life depends on him solving the mystery of violence that seems to follow the Avondale's wherever they go.

Although listed as a science fiction, this book is a sci-fi murder-mystery sprinkled with comedy and romance for all ages.
