Duby's Doctor

Duby's Doctor

A lady doctor hides a brain-damaged, childlike man in her home as he recovers from critical injuries, but neither she nor he know anything about his past as an undercover agent with brutal enemies.

Mitchell never expected to be a mother, and certainly not the foster mother of a 30-ish, muscular man who knows no more than a child, but she's learning fast.

John Doe is learning fast, too. He learns to speak English, in addition to his native French, he learns to read, and he proves to be an amazing painter.

Neither he nor Dr. Oberon know the name of the girl whose face is in all of John's paintings. Nor do they suspect that, before a failed murder attempt left his brain and body severely damaged, he was an undercover NSA agent called Yves Dubreaux, aka Duby.

Duby's enemies would kill him if they could find him. And if he keeps incorporating the face of his enemy's daughter into his popular, quick-selling paintings, Duby and his doctor could be found sooner rather than later.

When deadly foes descend, will Duby and the doctor be strong enough and smart enough to stay together and alive?
