The Only Exception

Allow me to introduce myself: Andrea Kailani Maverick. Seventeen, eleventh grade at Allerton High in New York City, divorced parents from Hawaii, surfer/skateboarder/snowboarder (both competitively and for kicks). That about covers my life. Well, it did, until my life did a stalefish air and pulled me under the waves thanks to a trip back home to Oahu and a swift kick in the eye. This is how it all went down.
