When Elen is sent to stay for the summer with her grandmother, she is FURIOUS. Gran lives on a tiny island, she’s odd and she seems to have lots of secrets. She gives Elen a map and tells her to explore.

But all Elen finds are mysteries. Who is the rude boy on the beach? Is an old poem a clue to hidden island treasure? As Elen starts to fall in love with the island and its animals, perhaps the treasure she’ll find is quite different from the one she expects...
