[Macrocosm 02] • The Omnithaneum

Joshua was the first person in his starting world to reach tier 4, but he couldn't have expected the consequences. Every world in Macrocosm with a tier 4 players is expected to have a method of reaching other planets, but Sanctum didn't. This triggered a Paradigm Shift and the invasion of two spacefaring civilizations.

The Saints Who Cleanse and the Demons Who Corrupt have arrived on Sanctum, and the Saints don't take kindly to the presence of zombies like Joshua. The Demons, however, are more than happy to include him in their ranks...so long as he can prove himself.

The presence of these warring factions has unveiled one of Macrocosm's greatest mysteries: The Omnithaneum. An infinite library that contains all knowledge, and that every world is connected to. Whoever controls the planet's entrance controls the planet as a whole, something that the Saints and Demons are keenly aware of. For some reason, the #1 player, Foundation, doesn't want Joshua entering the Omnithaneum, and Foundation is prepared to do whatever it takes to stop him.
