Luna Lynn Miller awakens to find herself naked and freezing in the pitch black nothingness of a cement pit. Instantly panic stricken, she discovers that blood is steadily seeping from several deep cuts on her neck and wrists.

Mysteriously elusive, her captors give her a choice; she can either drink a supposedly lifesaving concoction from their chalice or die.
