**The power is off as Garrett's family seesaws on the brink of extinction.**

For the beached survivors of the doomed cruise ship, there's no welcome home party. Atlantic City is in chaos. The newly formed gangs are too busy fighting among themselves to pay attention to the peculiar landing of a lifeboat on their shores. Things change as the new arrivals try to stake their claim and the established powers decide there's no room for the invaders.

With world suffering reaching an all-time high, Garrett fights to save his loved ones. He's trapped in an apocalyptic world surrounded by victims waiting for someone else to bring them salvation. They don't understand that jumping from the frying pan to the fire is no way to improve your lot in life. Self-reliance is the key to saving his family from the desolation hurtling towards them.
