[Poppy Blue 02] • Plenty of Trouble

Family is everything. Until it gets to be a pain in the butt.

Poppy Blue loves her life. She loves her magic store, her headstrong mother Fiona, her beleaguered and dessert-crazy stepfather, and that's in addition to feeling head-over-heels over the new man in her life, Roger Montgomery.

She's also thrilled that the want-ad Poppy, Fiona and their employee Vanessa conjured has brought them a wonderful new hire who wields some curious magic of his own.

Of course things never run smoothly for long. Soon her tempestuous and opinionated mother storms in with news: A family visit is imminent. Not only is Poppy's Aunt Lindy coming to their northern Michigan town, but she's also bringing her daughter Plenty. Plenty was named as such because her mother wanted her to have plenty of beauty, brains and blessings. Poppy and her mother Fiona, however, like to joke that the tall twentysomething only brings plenty of trouble.

Soon their private joke isn't so funny as Plenty storms into town, bringing botched magic and mayhem in her wake.
