Thomas Chalmers Harbaugh, poet and novelist who wrote short Western stories for Street & Smith's Literary Album. He next wrote a serial, "Nick o' the Night," which was begun in the Saturday Journal, in 1876, and reprinted in the Half-Dime Library. His third was "The Hidden Lodge," a Half-Dime in 1878. He published some poems of sorts and a number of short stories in the Saturday Journal, and a few novels elsewhere. "Nightingale Nat" and "Dandy Jack" also in 1878.
