Kelsey Fitzhugh, now an employee of the corporation Varius, is looking for a way out. When Jed shows up and offers her a mission, she jumps at the chance. When she discovers mission headquarters is a farmhouse in the middle of the woods filled with all of her family and friends, she realizes someone’s been lying to her.

With no way out, Kelsey tries to make the best of a bad situation and somehow finds herself involved with a werewolf claiming to be her best friend’s dead boyfriend and his sexy but suspicious alpha. Just when she thought she’d at least get a break from the reapers, they show up too and Kelsey finds herself caught in the crossfire of a battle she’s not sure she wants to be involved in. She’s going to have to choose sides, yet again, but this time, she’s ready to fight on her own terms.
