If I had known the horror that awaited me in the blistering heat of Dourlock, Texas — I never would have set foot in that decrepit town.

Something vile lurked in the woods that surrounded Dourlock. Something I sensed but could never quite put my finger on until it was too late. Too late to save the ones I loved.
