[Reggie Fortune 01] • The Bishop's Crime

It started with a dead body on a motorway. Reginald Fortune was able to tell Scotland Yard quite a bit about the corpse. He believed that the man had been murdered, after eating a kind of sausage popular in the west country. He also found stone debris under the man's nails, and guessed that he had been in an ancient building, like a cathedral. The signs pointed him to Badon, where the new Bishop and the old Dean were at daggers drawn. But why would either man have any connection with a burglar known to the police?
