[Alone 15] • An Unwelcome Homecoming

Nobody wanted to spend winter in Blanco. Sure, it was a great little town, and the townsfolk welcomed them like family. But it just wasn’t home. The Spears get comfortable in Blanco nonetheless and pitch in to help the locals get through another brutal winter. In San Antonio, Kristy is confronted with the death of a good friend, and is brutally attacked herself. She and sister Angela decide to try something radically different. A few short blocks away Amy and Robert are struggling to survive their first winter without their mother to guide them. She’s nine now and he’s eight, and neither is confident they’ll make it. Then one day there’s a knock on the door. And everything changes.
