Alexandria Lambert has a secret. She's a Freak. At least that's what the other Vampires are saying. Some Vamps like her get cool nick-names, like 'The Day Walker'. She's just treated like a mutation. That's why she spends most of her time with the living, working at the Franklin County Forensic Lab in Columbus, Ohio. It's not as glamorous as it sounds but it pays the bills. She even gets to help out when a group of terrorist Werewolves decide to go furry on the Channel Six News and chew on the anchorman. As if that wasn't enough, she's got to watch out for her new boss, Ethan Hollowman, who may or may not be a henchman for the Government. Sure he's Tall, Dark and Handsome but there has to be more to love in a guy who could be out to capture you for experiments. Because one thing is for certain, Ethan has secrets of his own. How does a girl balance work, a social life and the new feelings that Ethan are stirring in her? A bottle of Jagermeister and some O positive can't hurt.
