From ' A Long Tall Texan Summer'
f two personalities could clash, it would be those of Jobe Dodd and Sandy Regan.
Growing up Jobe protected Sandy, secretly he loved her since she was 17 years
old. Sandy also had her secret crush on the older Jobe but left for college to
get away from him. In her eyes, she couldn't do anything right when it came to
Jobe. And no man was going to get the best of her even though her heart secretly
longed for the foreman of her and her brother's ranch.
Jobe had haunted childhood memories when it
came to women, memories that put his father into an early grave. The path that
Sandy was taking in her life, getting a college degree, and working in the city
was not what Jobe wanted or felt was a path for a woman. Even with personalities
that could start a war every time they collided, their passion couldn't be
stopped. Jobe had to face his
childhood demons and realize that not every career woman was his mother and
Sandy Regan was the woman to show him that.
