Coming Home

My life in the big city ends the day I find my boyfriend in bed with my friend. I'm not thrilled to move back home, but I'm left with no other options.

Back in the the small town I vowed never to move back to things are starting to look up when clients start reaching out faster than I ever expected, and I'm getting to spend time with dad for the first time in years. Things are going better than expected, with one exception. Tyler, the steamy construction worker fixing dads bar has me wanting to back my bags and head back to the city.

He's judemental- if he speaks at all, and looks as if he's never worn a suit a day in his life. He treats me like a spoiled princess from day one, which has me wanting to stab him in his hot face with my heel.

After my bestfriend convinces me I need to have a little fun in the form of a one night stand, I choose Tyler as my victim, knowing I could never get attached to someone like him. What I expect to be a meaningless hook up ends up being life changing. Yes- it is that good. Anger quickly morphs into passion and I'm left wanting more.

As a person who prides herself on being level headed, I'm starting not to recognize myself. Could I actually feel something for someone like him? Or Is the heat starting to get to my head?
