And then there’s Gideon Storm, for whom the end of civilization has become little more than a playground of evisceration, dismemberment, and decapitation. Ruled by the guiding principles instilled by his mysterious uncle and teacher, Gideon revels in his self appointed role as Judge, slaughterer of the unjust, and tormentor of the wicked. A murderer for whom ‘an eye for an eye’ is an impractical and uninteresting mercy, Gideon only feels alive when proving to his enemies that suicide would have been a better life choice than ever meeting him.
