Rue has a perfect plan for righting the wrong that has been done to fae, Orin and Pammie. All she has to do is break into the Meris Corporation, a facility warded to detect and kill any nonhuman. Good thing Rue’s a resourceful vampire with lots of confidence.

After her daring venture, Rue’s met with a new challenge. Ghouls have been let loose in New Orleans, and they’re attacking humans as fast as Rue and werewolf cop Violet can save them. The humans are calling the resulting sickness night fever because it’s nothing they’ve ever seen before. Rue knows the truth. Anyone who gets the fever doesn’t just die--they are reborn as a ghoul.
